Delete your Koava account

Last updated: 20 September 2026

This page explains how to delete your account in the Koava app (the sports-coach booking app operated by Benjamin Bismuth, Israel) and what happens to your data when you do.

1. Delete your account in the app (recommended)

Open the Koava app, go to the Profile tab, tap “Delete Account” and confirm. Your account and the data listed below are deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.

2. Or request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, send an email to contact@koava.app from the email address linked to your Koava account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We process deletion requests within 14 days. For security, we can only act on requests sent from the account’s own email address, and we may ask you to verify your identity. If you have upcoming paid bookings or a pending refund, please contact us first so we can settle them before the deletion.

3. What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove: • Your profile: name, email address, phone number, profile photo and preferences. • Your chat conversations in the app. • Location data associated with your account. • Device identifiers and push notification tokens. • Your sign-in credentials, including the link with your Google or Apple account. Your card details are never held by Koava in the first place — they are handled exclusively by our payment provider PayMe.

4. What is kept, and for how long

Some records must be kept after account deletion to meet legal obligations: • Invoices, receipts and payment/transaction records — kept for 7 years, as required by Israeli tax and accounting law. • Customer support correspondence — kept for up to 3 years. • Security and fraud-prevention logs — kept for up to 12 months. • Anonymized statistics that can no longer identify you — kept indefinitely. Once these periods expire, the data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

5. Questions

For any question about account deletion or your data, write to contact@koava.app. More detail about how we handle personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.
